Jul 12, 2019 · To download a ESX, ESXi, VEM (patch bundles for Cisco Nexus Virtual Ethernet Module for ESX/ESXi), and vCenter Server patch follow the steps below: Go to the MyVMware Patch Downloads page. Log in with your MyVMware credentials. Downloading VMware Player To download VMware Player: Navigate to the VMware Download Center. Locate VMware Player under Desktop & End user Computing. Select the installer from the list according to your host operating system. Click Download. If prompted, log in to your My VMware profile. If you do not have a profile, create one. vSphere web client 6.5 shows only .vmdk file and not flat vmdk. When I try to download .vmdk it downloads only .vmdk file which is 1KB. I had to go to vSphere login page, use web based data browser for administrator and browse to the datastore which displayed both .vmdk and flat vmdk and download both the files.
